ADOF II External Communications

Ensuring Transparency & Accountability in E&S Matters

At Asia Debt Opportunities Fund II (ADOF II), we are committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in our environmental and social (E&S) practices. As part of our Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), we have established an External Communications Mechanism to receive, document, and respond to inquiries, or concerns related to the E&S impacts of our operations and portfolio investments.

The purpose of the ADOF II External Communications Mechanism

To provide the public with a clear and structured channel to submit questions or concerns related to the Fund’s Environmental & Social (E&S) Policy, raise issues concerning specific projects financed by the Fund, and receive timely, formal responses. This mechanism is open to all external stakeholders, including individuals, communities, civil society organizations, and any other interested parties who may be affected by or have an interest in the Fund’s activities.

Before Contacting the Fund

If your concern relates to a specific project: First approach the project/company directly. If unresolved, escalate to the Fund via below.

The Fund will issue an acknowledgment within 5 business days to confirm receipt.

A formal, written response will be provided within 20 business days.

If the issue raised requires further investigation or action – such as the development of a Supplemental Corrective Action Plan (SCAP) – a follow-up communication will be sent within 60 business days of the original submission to inform the sender of any steps taken or requested from the project company.

Tracking & Recordkeeping

Client Services will maintain logs of:

  • All submissions
  • Dates of receipt and response
  • Key issues raised

We use your information solely for the purpose of: Assessing and responding to your submission Investigating issues raised in relation to environmental and social impacts Communicating with relevant project stakeholders (where appropriate) Improving our Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS)
